From the on-the-street to the luxury, the city has no shortage of offers for any seafood taste, that also means sometimes it's hard to spot the really good ones. What we want are places that serve fresh and delicious seafood with good value, where the Da Nang people themselves love to eat. This guide helps you to better dive into the freshest and most delicious seafood at one of these best seafood places in Da Nang. I will keep updating the list as I discover new good places!
The popular, cheap, street-style seafood
You will see them in the form of a big yard, mostly outdoor, often crowded and very noisy. This type is very popular for easy-going young&middle age Da Nang people, groups of friends, colleagues, who choose these places to celebrate affordable graduation or birthday party (very often you will hear birthday songs), to gather after work, to talk business, to watch a football match (very often too). People talk loud, eat plenty, and consume lots of beer (things have changed after a new regulation has been issued last year in which alcohol drinkers regardless of amount are banned from taking part in traffic).
The price is often cheap, one can be full at just <200k VND.
Small note:
- Ordering fish sometimes means ordering the whole fish. Ask the proprietors to make two or more different dishes from the fish, if you want to avoid having too much of the same dish.
- Because they are more of the street-food style, so be aware of food hygiene.
1. Seafood Nam Danh (Hải Sản Năm Đảnh)
Address: K139/H59/38 Tran Quang Khai street, Son Tra District
With a reputation "too cheap for its value', it is no wonder Seafood Nam Danh makes one of the top destinations to chow down on some fresh seafood in Da Nang. The address is hard to find even for local people but still, the place is always crowded. Open for lunch and dinner. Come as early as 5 pm as on a typical day, tables are full after 6 pm.
2. Seafood I16 (Hải sản I16)
Address: 29 Nai Tu 2 St, Son Tra District
People love grilled oyster and mouth-watering mantis shrimp with garlic butter sauce here so much that even waiting time is long, the place is always crowded.
3. Seafood Be Man (Hải sản Bé Mặn)
Address: Lot 14 Hoang Sa Street, Son Tra District, Da Nang
Customers get to choose by themselves the freshest ingredients which lately be prepared with customer-assigned recipes. The restaurant is famous for seafood fried rice, steamed cuttlefish, grilled prawn, but the entire menu is generally good.

1. Be Anh Galaxy
Address: Lot B14-15 Ho Nghinh-Nguyen Cao Luyen Conjunction, Son Tra District.
Be Anh combines serves up a boatload of delicious seafood at affordable prices. The restaurant is more expensive than the three mentioned above, but the values worth the prices. Try your hand at cooking your own meal with the lemongrass and onion hotpot, or let the experts serve you fragrant, steaming bowls of fish congee and steamed cuttlefish.
2. Hai san pho
Address: 51 Vo Nguyen Giap Street, Ngu Hanh Son District.
The restaurant has a beach-front view and is beautifully decorated with high ceilings and incandescent lighting gracing its interior. Customers can choose a tablet indoor, outdoor patio, or on sand which is very close to the water.
The portions are huge and dishes are meant to be shared by a group of people. Order a handful of your favorite dishes, including crab, clams, prawns, and more. The restaurant attracts a lot of tourists but it doesn't necessarily mean it's too commercialized. In fact, I think the food is so good and plenty and worth the price.
2. Brilliant Restaurant

The menu at Brilliant Restaurant is diverse with hundreds of seafood ingredients and recipes, the quality of food is generally good, so diners can freely pick the dishes they like which are not the signature ones.
3. La Rive Gauche Restaurant - Grand Mercure Danang
Address: Lot A1, Grand Mecure Hotel, Green Island, Hai Chau District
Come on a Friday night for The seafood buffet at the 4-star hotel Grand Mecure to dine to the fullest. At the station, diners can choose from a colorful selection of delicacies prepared with the utmost care and freshest fish.
The buffet is VND 668.000++/person, which includes free flow of draught beer and soft drinks.
The new rock and roll
In this final category, I list some not very popular with the general local people because the food they serve isn't Vietnamese authentic. But the young Da Nang has become more alert with those newcomers as we have started to enjoy delicacies from all over the world cuisines.
1. The Lob Seafood Bar
